Mulick Park Elementary School is located on the southeast side of Grand Rapids and serves students in grades Pre-K through five. It is adjacent to land owned by the city that is used for recreational activities (tennis courts, baseball diamonds, football/soccer practice fields and water activities).
Built in 1952, the school serves over 400 students, including second language learners and students that are cognitively impaired. Over 90% of the teachers hold masters degrees and are highly qualified by State of Michigan teaching standards.
For the past three years, Mulick has been a part of the Michigan Integrated Behavior and Support Imitative where positive behavior and reading are the focus. Alger Middle School and Ottawa Hills High School are feeder schools for students in the Mulick Park attendance area.
